Our kitchen countertops are fabricated from premium quartz slabs, cut with CNC precision and hand-polished in our Winnipeg shop. Every countertop is templated on-site with laser-guided measurements, then shaped to fit your exact layout — including sink cutouts, cooktop openings, and backsplash returns. We handle everything from slab selection to final installation.
Why Quartz for Your Kitchen?
Quartz is the most practical and versatile material for kitchen countertops. It handles daily cooking, prep work, and spills without staining, scratching, or requiring maintenance — while looking as good as natural stone.
Non-Porous Surface
Unlike granite or marble, quartz never needs sealing. Its non-porous surface resists stains from wine, coffee, oil, and sauces — just wipe and it's clean.
Scratch & Heat Resistant
Engineered quartz scores 7 on the Mohs hardness scale. It resists knife marks, hot pan contact, and daily kitchen wear without chipping or dulling.
Consistent Color & Pattern
Every quartz slab is engineered for uniform color and veining. What you see in our showroom is exactly what gets installed — no natural stone surprises.
Hygienic for Food Prep
The non-porous surface doesn't harbor bacteria, mold, or odors. NSF-certified quartz is safe for direct food contact — ideal for kitchens with heavy daily use.
Kitchen Countertop Ideas
Popular configurations from recent Winnipeg projects.
L-Shaped Perimeter with Island
The most popular kitchen layout. A continuous quartz perimeter wraps the cooking and prep zones, with a separate island slab for gathering and serving. We match the slabs for consistent color across both pieces.
Waterfall Island Edge
Extend the quartz down the side of your island for a dramatic slab-to-floor effect. Mitered joints are precision-cut and nearly invisible, creating a seamless sculptural look.
Full-Height Backsplash
Carry quartz from the countertop up to the upper cabinets for a grout-free, easy-to-clean backsplash. Visually enlarges smaller kitchens and ties the surfaces together.
Contrasting Island
Pair a marble-look perimeter with a solid-tone island — or vice versa — to define zones and add visual depth. A popular choice for open-concept kitchens.

Common Questions
Everything you need to know about our kitchen countertops.
How much do quartz kitchen countertops cost?
Pricing depends on slab selection, square footage, edge profile, and cutouts. We provide all-inclusive quotes — material, fabrication, and installation — with no hidden fees. Request a free quote with your kitchen dimensions for an exact number.
How long does the kitchen countertop process take?
From template to installation, most kitchen projects take 2–3 weeks. We schedule the template visit within a few days of your slab selection, fabricate in about a week, and install on a day that works for you.
Can you match the quartz to my existing cabinets?
Yes. Bring a cabinet door or sample to our showroom and we'll help you find the right quartz color and pattern. We stock 50+ options from warm creams to cool grays to dramatic veined patterns.
Do you remove the old countertops?
Yes. We disconnect plumbing, remove the existing countertops, and haul them away. Your new quartz is installed and connected the same day.
Can quartz handle hot pots and pans?
Quartz resists heat well, but we recommend using trivets for very hot cookware straight from the oven or stove. Brief contact won't cause damage, but prolonged direct heat can affect the resin binder over time.
What's the difference between quartz and quartzite?
Quartz is an engineered stone (93% quartz + resin). Quartzite is a natural stone that requires sealing. Quartz offers more consistent color, zero maintenance, and better stain resistance at a similar price point.
